This Singer started life as a 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera 4. There is a movement these days to take older cars and ‘re-imagine’ them using current technologies to enhance the driving experience. Basically, the car is stripped down, and the chassis and engine are rebuilt including potentially every nut, bolt, etc., using lighter, stronger materials and current engine/transmission technology. You will note on the back of the car where the word ‘Singer’ is located that there is a shadow – ‘Re-imagined.’
Per the Singer Group, Inc., “Singer is a philosophy, captured in these five words, ‘A relentless pursuit of excellence.’ We’re driven to present a definitive version for our chosen subject matter. Our ongoing mission is to create the ultimate, enduring collection of iconic design.”
